Hi there, my name is Ben Wall and I am the PGA Head Professional here at Petersfield Golf Club. I have been a professional for just under ten years. Throughout those years, I have experienced work at public golf courses, retail stores, extremely busy driving ranges and now becoming head professional at the beautiful busy members club of Petersfield Golf Club.
In these first ten years of being a Professional I have achieved the following:
- Gained full PGA professional accredited status
- Gained qualified Master Custom fitter title.
This is an extended qualification in custom fitting to show increased knowledge recognised by the major golf brands (including Taylormade, Callaway, and Ping) - 15 Professional wins throughout Hampshire PGA and PGA in the South Region
- Successfully set up coaching academies and programmes at each venue I have worked at

About Ben
Over the past four years, I have taught over four thousand lessons and throughout all of those lessons I try to have the same outlook:
- Make the lesson enjoyable
- Make the session informative using high forms of technology and data
- Be a positive role model both during and in feedback after the lesson.
I pride myself on being a positive, friendly, and knowledgeable professional. Golf is an undeniable and unmatched passion in my life and I truly love going to “work” every day because I get to work in the industry I love so much.
